Like most writers, I've been putting pen to paper (and eventually fingers to keyboard) for a long, long time.
My first short story was one called Strangers. It fell into
what is now called erotica, but I certainly had never heard that term before. Though the few friends and family I allowed to read it gave it a nod, I was too naive to even consider sending it anywhere for possible publication. (And having recently given it another look, I'm quite sure it would not
have made it. Though a fun little erotic tale, it was all over
the place as far as POV, details ... coherence. LOL! Maybe I'll share it here at a later time.)
There were a few other short stories that made it into small print publications though and I'm happy to share them here.
These stories are dear to my heart for various reasons, which I will share before each one, though they definitely fall into the "sweet romance" category.
I toned down the graphic sexuality after Strangers, because an instructor told me that there wasn't really a market for that type of writing. Hmm. Guess I was just ahead of the game. Just goes to show that even the "experts" don't have all the answers ... follow your heart.
I hope you enjoy reading these short romantic tales as much as I loved writing them!
